Approach

We act immediately and propose a more robust type of fan that is better suited to withstand the environmental conditions. We order this as a priority. To minimize downtime in the meantime, we work with the customer to review available parts. We install an equivalent fan from a decommissioned cooler and temporarily deploy it offshore as an emergency solution.

Result

The installation is quickly operational again, with minimal disruption to the process. During a planned shutdown, we replace the temporary emergency solution with the permanent fan.
