80% of vibrations and fan trips
Are caused by crosswind
How do environmental factors such as (side) wind, pollution, and warm air recirculation affect the operational output of your air-cooled cooler / condenser?
The innovative OPTI SCREEN™ technology offers solutions in two situations:
With increasing crosswind, the airflow through the air-cooled cooler decreases due to a change in static pressure in the fan.
This has two consequences:
With hot air recirculation (warmeluchtrecirculatie or HAR), the warm air blown out at the top of a cooler bank mixes with the cold ambient air that is drawn in at the bottom of the cooler.
Consequence:
The temperature at the cooler inlet increases, resulting in a decrease in cooling capacity.
Are caused by crosswind
Provides a significantly lower cooling airflow
Often results in 20% less cooling capacity
Expansion is not necessary with OPTI SCREEN™. This new technology ensures lower energy consumption and unchanged maintenance costs when applied in the existing situation.
At the same time, there are fewer noise sources and therefore a lower noise emission. OPTI SCREENTM also directly contributes to a reduction in CO2 emissions.
